Chicago

Chicago is so beautyful! We stayed the first night in a (very) cheap hotel and then went to our couch-host Mark for the next two nights. It was so cool! He made us feel like home, had great advices what to do and we had much fun together. For example in a small bar around the corner, where an open-mic-night took place.

The first evening was reserved for the Navy Pier by night. It can’t be better at daylight! We went there right after we have been to the famous Gino’s pizza restaurant.

On the second day we spent all the time in the Museum of Science and Industry, which is not like looking at things, but you can play around with everything, touch it and see it all working. It is great and one of my favorite museum so far!
Then we met Mark, had a homemade dinner and went to that bar mentioned above.

On the friday we had a river and lake boattour, went on top of the Willis tower, which is the tallest building in the western hemisphere (103 levels) and had a gigantic view of the city! Then we walked the Millenium Park and headed back to Mark’s appartment where we spent the evening with him, a glass of wine and talking about “god and the world” :-)

Today, we left right after breakfast and headed towards Cleveland, which took almost the whole day, because we started pretty late.
